Industrial operators to miss-out on DEWA EV charging extension

Dubai Electrical energy and Water Authority (Dewa) has introduced that it’s extending its present free charging incentive for electrical automobiles until the tip of 2021.

Nevertheless, the extension solely applies to non-commercial customers, who register for the EV Inexperienced Charger Initiative.

This incentive is unique to Dewa’s public charging stations and doesn’t embrace residence charging stations. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dewa, stated: “Dewa seeks to extend the variety of hybrid and electrical automobiles in Dubai, which helps the Dubai Inexperienced Mobility Technique 2030 and the Dubai Carbon Abatement Technique 2021 to cut back carbon emissions from the transportation sector.”
